RITUALS HAUL/REVIEW! ~I'M BACK!

Hello everyone!

I feel it's been forever and it's so weird for me to be writing at this special place of mine, my blog.
As always my one and only excuse is me studying and working non-stop, having only very little precious time for myself, when I usually travel or play video games.
Still I felt I should start writing again cause I missed this personal space of mine, where I can be creative and share my interests. So, I'm back with a brand I really like, RITUALS. Some of the products I haven't tried but some others I've already tested out.

DISCLAIMER: I bought the products some time ago, the company has changed some packages or (partly) the name of products but the content/ingredients stay the same.

FOAM SHOWER GELS:

Starting off with the famous RITUALS foam shower gels. These products make your skin really soft and at the beginning I was very curious about them, they turned out great. On the whole, what I really like about them is their subtle scent and the beautiful feeling your skin's left with after using them.
I love the packaging, old & new, and the idea of these products as they're quite special and perfect as a gift for your loved ones.

Bottles consist of 200ml and cost ca. 8,50 €.

I've already tried this one, which I also included at another blog post about stress relief (read it here goo.gl/C6tC3W). The T'AO-TAI CHI, now named as The Ritual of Dao, with White Lotus and YiYi Ren is for me the perfect foam shower gel to use on a daily basis. I love its subtle scent and the feeling of relaxation I get after using it.

This cute foam shower gel was a limited edition when I bought it, so I really hope I can still find a link for you guys. It's the Oriental Dream, with Creamy Cacao and Almond Milk. This one has a more intense aroma as the previous one and I would personally use it on a Saturday night. The scent is quite strong but not in a negative way. It stays on the skin, so you don't actually need a perfume.

I still haven't used this one but I was really excited when this range came out. This foam shower gel was called Zensation and is now named The Ritual of Sakura. It consists of Organic Rice Milk and Cherry Blossom. Its scent is subtle and I think it would be suitable for the spring & summer showers.
-This package is ON SALE (find at links).

SCRUBBING:

This scrub is now named The Ritual of Sakura scrub and has a white packaging.
It belongs to the same Sakura range with Organic Rice and Cherry Blossom and is a sugar scrub. On the description of the package it mentions: " Use once or twice a week for a soft and glowing skin..." I'm really excited for this one, as I don't generally love scrubs and hope this one will change my mind!

Package: 375g
Price: ca . 19,50 €

FOR HIM:

I already loved the Samurai shaving collection for men, ok  actually my bf loved it, as I didn't use it :P But the packaging was so beautiful! (read it here
goo.gl/nyaXwU )

This time around I bought the Samurai foam shower gel for him, with Organic Bamboo and Cedar Wood (looking at picture: left). He hasn’t used it yet but it does smell fantastic. We find though that Cedar Wood is more of a winter scent.

What he does use is the Samurai Ice shower- cooling shower gel with Organic Bamboo and Japanese Mint. (looking at picture: right.) He really likes it as its refreshing, "ice" feeling and scent are the the perfect combination for summer showers.

Samurai Foam: Bottle 200ml. Price: ca. 8,50 €
Samurai Gel: Tube: 200ml. Price: ca. 8 €

 A BIT OF SKINCARE:

After using some body products by RITUALS I thought I should also try some of their skincare products.  I specifically bought a face cleanser and a face toner, both of which I tried and really liked.

The creamy foam cleanser with Lotus Flower and Moringa Extract is a, as stated on the package, "Luxury, soap-free facial cleanser..." which, "cleanses and re hydrates for soft, supple skin". You apply it on wet face and neck and massage it into the skin. I can only confirm that it leaves the skin very soft and hydrated. It calms and soothes the skin, having also a nice sweet scent. I'd have to say I use it only on my special deep cleansing "spa-days", especially on the weekends when I have more time  for my skincare.

Tube: 125ml.
Price: 12,50 €

On these special "spa-days" I also use this lovely Ultra Calming Facial Toner, with calming botanical extracts. As stated on the package, it is alcohol-free and has a mild formula, "It cleanses and softens the skin". I personally love this product and especially its subtle, beautiful scent.

Bottle: 200ml.
Price: 11,50 €

So, this is everything I have from RITUALS. I generally have a positive view for this brand till now. I'd be happy to present later on some of their newest products. I think they're doing a great work with the packaging and the scents. I'd definitely like to try some day & night creams, some body-lotions and also some candles in the future.

What do you guys think about this brand? Any suggestions, remarks?

I hope this blog post wasn't too short and I'll do my best to keep posting context. :)

I'd be happy to read your comments and remarks!

Hope you enjoyed!

BOX GIFT IDEAS II !! Shiseido, RITUALS. (For her & him)

hola guys!!

I'm baaaaack!! Finally I'm back to blogging.

I've been away for some months, mostly because of my uni program and exams.
But here I am again with some products I tested and would like to write about.

For this post I chose some gift boxes again as I myself gifted them the last months to favourite people of mine.
(If you wanna see Part I : http://goo.gl/LCKtpz)

Let's go!

For Her:
Let's start with the Shiseido IBUKI Starter Kit!
I gifted it to my sister at Christmas and also bought it for myself two months ago
I really loved this Kit!
So, below you can see the small box front and back side. You can see that on the back there is a description of each product with photos of them.
The cost of the box is between 25 to 35 euros, depending on where you find it.

In the box you will find 3 products, each package consisting of 30 ml.
A cleanser, a concentrate and a moisturizer.
The smell of all the products is really delicate.

The Gentle Cleanser.
A rich foam that cleanses the skin by removing impurities but not the moisture.
It leaves your skin fresh and smooth.
I always use it for my night cleansing routine.

The Softening Concentrate.
After cleansing you use this product, that works in some way as a serum.
It helps the effective ingredients to deliver quickly into the skin and is perfect to use before moisturizing products.

Lastly, the Refining Moisturizer.
It corrects the unevenness of the skin, such as pores, blemish marks etc.
The skin feels refreshed, smooth and hydrated after the use.

 For Him:
I'm starting to love the company called RITUALS.
That's why I decided to gift this box to my boyfriend.
The Rituals Perfect Shave collection box, which belongs to the Ancient Samurai range.
Its cost is 17,50 to 18 euros.

As you see here, front and back side.
Front looks absolutely beautiful and back once again description and photos of the products.

The packages are also really beautiful and especially the after shave with its wonderful, wooden cap.
Here again, the smell of all products is subtle.

 Samurai Scrub.
Wakame & Bamboo.
Step 1 is the face scrub and wash that exfoliates the skin and prepare it for shaving.
The bottle consists of 30 ml.

Samurai Magic Shave.
Basil & Ginseng.
Step 2 is the mild and caring shaving cream that really protects and hydrates the skin.
Package consists of 70ml.

Samurai Shave Repair.
Basil & Tiger Grass.
Last step is this calming after shave lotion.
It smells wonderful and the bottle is really beautiful.
It consists of 30ml.

So these were my suggestions of gifts you could buy for your loved ones or yourself.

Hope you enjoyed!

See you soon, τα λέμε!

Take care!! xx

Photo, Book and Artist of the day! Autumn

hola guys!

How are you all doing? Today begins the last month of Autumn, which until now has been unusually sunny! I quite loved it! Beautiful sunny scenery with yellow and orange leaves everywhere! And a really warm weather as well!

PHOTO

So, I took this photo walking on the way to the uni. Gotta admit that I love Germany's colours in Autumn. Imagine the whole city is fulled with trees and leaves like that. As said before, the weather has been wonderful, and not rainy as always, so it has been perfect walking through the city and going for picnics in the park. :)

BOOK

As mentioned often in my blog I love The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings Trilogies. Unfortunately, I've only read half of the Hobbit book in Greek. So, I decided to pick it up again, in its original English version and I'm already half way through. I just love it. I feel now is a perfect time to read it!

ARTIST

This time I chose an artist and not a song, because I just couldn't chose one!
Gregory Alan Isakov with his album "This Empty Northern Hemisphere".
Wonderful album, loved all the songs! Very autumnal!

Sorry if this post was too short, I'll come back with bigger ones in December! I've got a lot of Hauls for you :D

What have you loved til now in Autumn? Book/Song suggestions?

See you soon!

Take care!! xx

Summer Holiday Routine Products from Greece! +KORRES +bioten etc.

hola guys!

I'm back! I spent 21 days in my home city in Greece! I had an amazing time there! The weather was wonderful and ideal for spending the day at the beach. Of course the best part of it was seeing my family and friends!

As I spent so many days there I bought some products for my daily skin, hair and beauty routine. I'm quite pleased with those products so I decided to show them to you. I will not include prices as I bought them all in Greece and they're quite different than in other countries. Some of the products are from Greek companies, which I really support for their good quality, but you can find them in other countries too.

Here we go:

From left to right the products I chose are:
The cleansing gel from Bioten with quince extract.
The sunsilk range for dry hair (except for the hair mask).
The CC dream skin multi corrector from Carroten.
Lastly, the Japanese Rose shower gel from KORRES.
(Not on the photo: The Noxzema No Aroma Deodorant).
So let's start up seeing the products one by one:
This is the Sunsilk orange range for dry and damaged hair. First of is the shampoo which has a Nutrikeratin technology so as to reconstruct damaged hair and clean them. The package consists of 400ml. Next up is the Sunsilk hair conditioner which restores your dry hair, deputizing the proteins of the it. The bottle consists of 200ml. Lastly, I bought the Sunsilk leave-on cream for after washing your hair. You apply all over wet hair. Combing your hair becomes a lot easier. The bottle consists of 200ml. Overall, I am very pleased as they softened my hair and made them really shiny. The full reconstruction range consists also of the Sunsilk mask, but personally I use the Monoi de Tahiti oil from Yves Rocher as a mask and don't wanna change it! (Monoi de Tahiti Review: http://rachelraucous.blogspot.de/2015/06/yves-rocher-haul-review.html)

Moving on to the shower gel Japanese Rose from KORRES, which is a Greek company. You should definitely check out this and all KORRES products as they are made of natural ingredients and are terminologically tested. You can find KORRES in lots of countries around the world. This shower gel was a 1+1 deal. It smells wonderfully, having a sweet essence of rose buds and makes your skin velvet soft. It has 92.1% natural content and organic Althea extract. The bottle consists of 250ml. Thumbs up for this company!

Third product is also from a Greek company called Carroten. This company is famous for its sun protection creams, lotions etc. This time I wanted to try a different product from them. It's the CC dream skin multi corrector. It is a sun care face cream with 50 SPF/UVB, meaning high protection. Doesn't contain parabens, is water resistant and terminologically tested.

The cream contains a bit of colour for covering and the one I bought is for light to medium skin tone. The cream contains mineral pigments and protectil complex. I would say it was perfect for some cover up for going to the beach at summer. Personally, I will continue using it now because I like a really soft make up cover. It is perfect as I often forget using sun cream in the winter. Sun cream is important all over the year for all skin types. I should mention that this is by no way a full make up coverage product and could be used as a make up base. It also should be avoided in the area of the eyes. The bottle has an applicator and consists of 50ml.

Moving on to another Greek product. It is the cleansing gel for normal/combination skin from bioten. This product is paraben, paraffin, colorant, soap free and is 100% natural. It has quince extract and wonderful scent. The gel cleans well and leaves your skin really soft. It moisturizes your skin and should be definitely be used for daily skin care routine. Bottle consists of 150ml.

Lastly my sister bought this roll-on deodorant from Noxzema for me. I really liked it, because it has no aroma. It has been perfect for the summer as it was light and doesn't have a strong scent. It lasts for many hours and is definitely worth buying it. The package contains 50ml.

So this was my haul of the routine products I used on my holiday in Greece.

Hope you enjoyed it!

Take care!! xx

My favourite pair of trousers for summer! 3 looks! #H&M

hola guys!

Hope you're doing fine and enjoying the summer! :D
My exams go on until the end of July and then I can finally go on holidays!
I went shopping the other day cuz I really wanted some summer pants as I only have shorts and jeans. I wanted a pair of loose black trousers, as I find it sometimes too warm to wear jeans in the summer.
I found the perfect one in H&M and it just cost 9,99 euros.

So here are the 3 looks I created..
(The looks are made mostly based on German weather, which changes often in the summer and can turn from warm to kinda of chill and windy.)

So the first look is a style I like to wear when going out for dinner or for a drink in the evening. Keeping it simple for a summer night.
Cropped tank top: Tally Weijl
Purse: Kem
Necklace: Pull&Bear
Heels: Local Store

Second look is more of an office look and perfect for days that are not that hot, which happens often here in Germany.
Shirt: New Yorker
Bag: C&A
Ballerinas: H&M

Lastly, the style I like for when going for coffee or shopping.
Cropped Top: H&M
Jeans Vest: H&M
Necklace: Local Store
Bag: Primark
Shoes: H&M

So, here are the 3 looks/styles with my favourite pair of summer trousers.

Hope you enjoyed this post! Comment and tell me your opinion or your favourite summer item!

Take care!! xx
